Meet The Team

The Well's Student Leaders are prayerfully chosen to serve because of their faithfulness and heart for ministry. They have the opportunity to work closely with ministers and receive mentoring for personal faith growth as we encourage the development of the gifts that God has given them. They add ideas, energy, and fun. They plan and lead events, facilitate discussion groups, share their faith, invite friends and coordinate outreach. Simply put, they are the heartbeat of our ministry...and we're crazy about them.

David Marquez

Heyy, I'm David! I'm a personal and family finance major, and an Army National Guard Soldier. I'm from a small town east of Tucson called Morenci, AZ. In my free time I like to go boxing and snowboarding, hiking and outdoor adventures, and of course getting coffee with my friends. I'm passionate about domestic violence and teen dating violence awareness. My favorite thing about The Well is the community.

Hi! My name is Allyson Tate (although everyone calls me Ally) and I am a first-year student majoring in Pre-Business (I want to go into Marketing and Entrepreneurship). I was born and raised in Tucson and love to show people my favorite places. When I am not studying or at the U of A, you can find me working at the Vail Coffee Stop, reading books or hanging with my friends. I am a bit of a nerd, so I can talk all day about my favorite books and TV shows. My favorite thing about the Well is the community and fun that we have together. It is my hope that those who come to our gatherings feel welcome and at home in our craziness!

Talofa! My name is Anthony Cuestas. I am from American Samoa. I am a sophomore at the University of Arizona studying criminal justice. Joshua 1:9 says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” This is my life verse that I keep in my heart.

Hi! I’m Vincent Dame, a Tucson native who is currently in my second year of mechanical engineering. In my free time I enjoy beatboxing (don’t worry it’s cool when I do it) and day trading. With all the stress that being a student brings, Well Wednesdays are a nice break during the week to spend time with friends and worship God. Hope to see you there!

Hello! My name is Julia Davis and I’m from El Paso, TX. This is my first year at U of A and I am majoring in Natural Resources with a minor in Environmental Science. I love to make art, play the piano, and fence! My favorite part about The Well is the wonderful family we’ve created, and I can’t wait to see it grow!
