My name is Julia Davis, and I am from El Paso, Texas. I am a senior majoring in Natural Resources with an emphasis in wildlife conservation and management. When I’m not at the Well, I like to spend my time hiking, playing the piano, and hanging out with friends! I am so excited to be a part of the team this year and can’t wait to see what the Lord has planned for us. The Well has become a second family to me, which has been vital in my growth as a college student away from home. I hope that all the students feel welcome and wanted in our family that we have built. There’s always room for an extra seat around the table. 

Hello! My name is Edlyn, and I’m originally from Nigeria. I’m currently a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science. In my free time, I really enjoy baking something new and different, and I also love spending time watching a good TV show or movie. One of my favorite things about being part of the Well is the strong sense of community it provides. It has given me a space where I feel supported and connected, not just socially but also spiritually. Being at the Well has helped me grow in my relationship with God in so many meaningful ways.

Hello! My name is Valerie Sackor, and I am from Phoenix Arizona. I am a sophomore pre-med student majoring in Biology. Outside of the Well, I love binge-watching movies and shows by myself or with friends. I also enjoy outdoor activities and cooking! The Well is a home away from home for me. I cherish the relationships I have with all the members and the spiritual growth it has given me in my walk with Jesus. Retreats are one of my favorite events to attend because teaches me so much about God, myself, and how to strengthen our relationship. I hope all students feel welcomed at the Well and experience the joy I have. WHOO! 

Hello, my name is Nyreek Thompson, and I am a Junior at the University of Arizona. I am a K.E.Y.S. alumnus who has a passion for animal health care, environmental & wildlife conservation, and organic agriculture. Being able to provide medical aid to animals and owning an organic farm is my career goal. I hope to gain the experience necessary to achieve this while attending the University of Arizona.

Hello! My name is Shawna Veenstra, and I am a Senior in Music Education. I am originally from Zeeland, Michigan, but have loved living in Arizona for the past three years. I love spending my free time singing, playing piano, and baking, and I am also the worship leader at Trekko church. My favorite part about the Well is the tight-knit community that we have, regardless of how different we all may be. I’m excited to end my college experience with another year at The Well!
